What surface does the rink need to sit on?
Any flat, hard surface works — concrete, asphalt, hardwood gym floors, tile, or packed gravel with our sublayer mats. We do a quick site check before delivery to confirm compatibility.
How long does installation take?
A 16×32 rink installs in under 2 hours. Our largest 60×120 seasonal setups take 1–2 days. Teardown is equally fast. We schedule around your event timeline.
Can it be used outdoors in summer heat?
Yes. SK8GSI panels are rated from −40°F to 180°F. The surface self-lubricates and performs well in all conditions. Performance is optimal below 80°F but is fully usable in warmer climates.
Do you provide skates and safety gear?
Skate rental packages (hockey and figure) are available as an add-on starting at Pro Experience tier. Helmets and wrist guards can also be added. We can recommend local skate rental partners if preferred.
What happens if something gets damaged?
Our synthetic ice panels are virtually indestructible under normal use. In the unlikely event of panel damage, individual tiles are replaced at cost. All rentals include basic liability documentation.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend 4–6 weeks for large events. Small private events can sometimes be accommodated with as little as 5 business days notice. Holiday season (Nov–Jan) books out fast — reserve early.
