WHERE IT GOES

PUT YOUR RINK ANYWHERE

If you have a flat, smooth, level, hard surface, you have room for a rink. These are the spaces our customers turn into ice most often.

Garage Hockey Rink

One bay or the whole floor. Daily skating without leaving the house.

Basement Rink

Dry, climate-controlled and ready year-round.

BACKYARD RINK

Build it on a patio, slab or subfloor. Panels can't go straight on grass.

Driveway Rink

Panels on an existing slab, right outside the garage door.

DECK AND BALCONY

A flat, solid deck or balcony makes a great rink.

BARN AND WAREHOUSE

Big spaces make big rinks, with room for full skating lanes.

ANYWHERE ELSE FLAT

Sheds, workshops, gyms and training spaces.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Made by People Who Run Rinks

Global Synthetic Ice has manufactured synthetic ice for more than 25 years and has operated its own rinks for more than 20. The panels in your garage use the same knowledge that goes into the rinks we skate on every day.

Multi-directional lock.

More surface connections mean seams are strong both ways, so the rink expands and contracts as one piece.

BUILT FOR TEMPERATURE SWINGS

The tab geometry flexes with temperature changes, so seams stay tight without buckling.

Panel sizes: 4′ × 4′ and 4′ × 8′

Thickness: Thickness: 3/8″ and 1/2″

Connection: Built-in locking tabs on every edge

Warranty: 7 years against manufacturing defects

Real Skates. Real Edges. Every Day.

Goalies

Crease movement, butterfly slides, and recovery reps in a space that fits a basement.

Figure Skaters

Footwork, spins, and daily repetition before or after school.

Synthetic Ice vs. a Backyard Ice Rink

A home synthetic ice rink competes with the backyard rink you’d flood yourself, not with the local arena. Here’s the honest comparison.

Real ice glides more easily, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Synthetic ice is denser, so it rewards good technique, and many skaters use that on purpose to build strength and edge control.

Questions From Homeowners

Can you install it for me?

Yes. Our team designs, builds and installs the whole rink, including the options you choose. We install anywhere, and travel is quoted with your project. Tell us about your space and we will send a free layout and a quote.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. The panels tap together with a rubber mallet, and the locking tabs on every edge hold them in place. We design your layout for free and send installation videos. You need a flat, hard, level surface.

What size rink can I get?

We will design the size around your space. Send us your measurements and we will draw a free layout. We are happy to go through sizes and thicknesses with you on a call.

Where can I put a home rink?

On any flat, hard, level surface: a garage, basement, driveway, patio, deck, barn, warehouse or gym. Panels cannot go straight on grass. For a backyard we build a flat base first, and we can help you plan it.

How much does a home rink cost?

The cost depends on the size, the panel thickness, the options you choose, and whether you install it yourself or we do. Send us your space and we will send back a free layout and a clear quote.

What else can you supply for my rink?

Anything your rink needs. We carry skate sharpeners, shooting tarps, board materials and more. Tell us what you need and we will supply it with your order.
